Meet The Author Of Healing in Real Time.

Welcome to a space where healing is not a destination, but a living, breathing process. I’m Lexi, a writer, advocate, and sanctuary-builder navigating the complexities of borderline, boundaries, and becoming whole. Here, you’ll find reflections rooted in faith and emotional truth. I share personal stories, poetic insights, and restoration strategies that honor both the ache and the hope of healing in real time. Whether you’re a fellow traveler, a curious reader, or someone longing for grace in the grey, this page offers a glimpse into the heart behind the sanctuary.

I’m Lexi, and Healing in Real Time started as a lifeline, something I needed when everything felt like too much. I’ve lived through the chaos of mental illness, the instability of broken relationships, and the exhausting cycle of in-and-out therapy. For years, I didn’t know how to name what I was feeling, let alone share it. But slowly, through scripture, therapy, and the sacred work of showing up, I found my way back to myself.

Today, I’m 26, a mom to two kids and a stepmom to two more. I’m finally in a relationship that feels safe, steady, and kind. And I’ve learned to be radically honest about where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’m going. This blog is my way of making meaning out of the mess, writing from the middle, not the mountaintop.

Healing in Real Time is my sanctuary. It’s where I share the rhythms that keep me grounded, the truths I’m still learning, and the grace that meets me in the grey. If you’re here, maybe you’re learning to live in the middle, too. You’re welcome here.
